I must admit, this is not the most attractive chart I have ever seen!  But, I love it for the question that comes to mind when I look at the numbers.  How is it that with near 27 million slaves in the world today, we account for less than 120,000 identified victims over the course of 3 years?  The data comes straight from the US TIP Report that is submitted every year by the State Department.  The realization proves that we could really use a more aggressive documentation process through non-profit sector that handle these cases.  I am also curious as to what caused the jump in numbers in 2009…
